Recently established Bulgarian Cartographic Association replaced the Union of Surveyors and Land Managers as a national representative for Bulgaria in the ICA during the General Assembly.

А symposium on “Maps for the future: children, education and the Internet” was held in Orleans, France with Bulgarian participation. A book on this topic will be published by Springer next year.
