Bulgaria is celebrating the thirteenth World Day of Geographic Information Systems on 16th and 17th of November.
Each year in November the world celebrates the Day of Geographic Information Systems. This year it will be celebrated in Bulgaria on 16th and 17th of November with multiple events at the leading universities in the country and with an Official Cocktail accompanied by Exhibition-Competition for Maps.
A course on GIS Panorama was held in Laboratory on Cartography, University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy. Teachers and PhD students participated. The course tutors were Yana Angelova and Angel Angelov from Geodetect Ltd.

7th Cartographic Conference and 3rd Croatian NSDI and INSPIRE day was hеld in Croatia. The president of BCA, Assoc. Prof. T. Bandrova was invited as a keynote speaker of the event.

The President of BCA, Assoc. Prof. T. Bandrova has been elected a Member of the Executive Committee of the International Society for Digital Earth (ISDE) during the 7th International Symposium on Digital Earth in Perth, Australia.
